In which the authors get Richard Drunk because no lj-breakage should occur with him sober.

Also, we totally broke my LJ without making Richard drunk or confusing Clark! This is unprecedented!

No kidding. It feels a little funny.

Ummm...

How about if Remy makes a comment on how Batarangs are phallic?

Bruce thinks Remy is losing his touch. Like he hasn't heard that one before.

Richard knew it was too good to be true.

Clark flops on a chair beside Richard and wordlessly passes a stein.

They should really be used to this by now.

Richard makes a comment on how Remy and Bruce should just make-out already and get it out of their system.

Clark had thought he was incapable of choking until this moment.

Richard really thinks Clark should stay home every once in a while. He only embarrasses himself.

What Remy is doing does not look humanly possible.

Bruce's reaction, while not as physically... erm... striking, is quite verbose and explicit and Clark can never look at egg separators in the same way ever again.

Richard wonders why he continues to put himself in this situation. Most people never see their college roommates again after they drop out and vanish for seven years. And he should be smarter than to be seen in public with Remy.

Remy reminds Richard that he (Richard) is only being a good citizen by showing around a poor newcomer from Way Out of Town.

Also, Richard eerily reminds him of his drinking buddy, Scott.

Except that Scott can hold significantly more liquor than Richard. But Richard is a lot easier to egg on, so it might even out.

True. Now Remy is getting nostalgic and Bruce is trying to figure out a way to take advantage of the situation. Perhaps a very un-phallic Batarang to the head?

Clark thinks he should tell Bruce that if he uses a Batarang--phallic or not--on Remy, he's going to have to do something and this is supposed to be a relaxing evening. Of course, he also considers just making Richard deal with it, because it was his idea in the first place.

The last time he did that, though, he wound up sleeping on the couch and Richard was stuck in the spare bedroom, and it really wasn't fair of Lois to punish him because Richard let his friends blow up the bar.

Richard reminds Clark that if he wanted a relaxing evening, he would not have brought Bruce or Remy, nevermind the both of them within fifty miles of each other.

Remy tells Bruce that he (Bruce) wants to poke him (Remy) with anything, he (Bruce) is going to have to pay him (Remy) just like he (Bruce) does with all his boy toys.
